Description
Ramón Adán de Yarza, born at Bilbao in 1848, was one of the most brilliant engineers of his generation. In 1871, he joined the commission established for the elaboration of the Geologic Map of Spain. At the threshold of the 20th century, he published a variety of geologic maps of the Basque Country, and we owe him the first map edited in Basque.
