Hispaniae Nova Describtio. De Integro Multis inLocis, Secundum Hydrographicas, Desc. Emendata
[Mercator-Hondius]
Jodocus Hondius

Description

The important Mercator’s Atlas had to wait until its publication by Hondius to include a small-scale map of the Iberian Peninsula, which provided an image of the territory in the early 17th century. In the coloured copy, Navarre comes out over the coastline, and Biscay streches out westwards up to Asturias.
