Description
From 1973 to 1977, a number of institutions published maps of the Basque Country in a convenient scale, using for the purpose data retrieved from the Geographic High Council of Spain. Under the direction of Jose Luis Lizundia, a tireless Basque-language advocate, the geographic information obtained laid out the basis necessary to draw up this map of the whole Basque Country, edited by the cooperative bank Cooperativa de Crédito Caja Laboral – Euskadiko Kutxa, present-day Laboral Kutxa, which featured all its place names in Basque.
