Description

Villegas authored the first Atlas Temático published in Spain, starting 1852, divided in two volumes, and reedited in 1857. The four “exempt or foral” provinces are set apart. Additionally, the Crown of Aragon, a territory formerly also possessing native law codes, comes under the label “incorporated or assimilated Spain”, while the rest of provinces fall under the inscription “uniform or fully constitutional Spain”.
