Description
The 1833 territorial division prompted the emergence of new regional cartography that could show the State’s new organization. The Atlas Nacional de España by Dufour, made up of 12 loose maps, integrates that new reality. Interestingly, the peninsular Basque Country sees its area enlarged with the part under French administration, completing one of the earliest maps of the entire Basque Country.
