Description
A British representation of the Iberian Peninsula in the Ancient Regime. The map presents “Biscay” and “Navarre” as a single territorial entity, but does not include Alava. The extent of the choronym Biscay, which spanned for centuries up to Asturias, keeps gradually shrinking.
